1.27 Adjusting Font Size

For the most part this chapter is not the ideal place to be discussing advanced topics. However, there is one that can be so important for the visually impaired as to merit consideration right up front. Go to Options, Preferences, General and click on the button Advanced UI/system tweaks… Look for the text Font size adjustment for theme/arrange/ruler. The default setting is 1.0. You can change this: for example, a value of 1.1 will increase font size for these elements by 10% when you click OK and close this window. This can make it easier to read, for example the track panel, ruler and transport bar. If you make a mistake or change your mind the Restore to defaults button will get you out of jail! You can learn more about Advanced UI/System tweaks in section 22.14
